How Long Are the Fishing Trips?
We offer full-day 12-hour offshore trips, eight-hour nearshore adventures, and four-hour inshore fishing charters out of Morehead City. Whether you're chasing marlin in the Gulf Stream or mackerel close to shore, we've got a trip that fits your schedule.
When's the Best Season to Go Fishing?
We keep the lines tight March to November, with great fishing throughout the spring, summer, and fall. If you're hoping to catch a certain species, contact us. We're happy to recommend the best time to head out.
What Should I Pack?
Please bring a cooler with food and drinks for the day, along with polarized sunglasses, non-spray sunscreen, and a hat. We provide everything else you'll need for a successful day on the water.

Can We Keep What We Catch?
Absolutely! After a day on the Legacy, you'll head home with plenty of fresh catch.
Fish cleaning is available for an additional charge.

Do We Need Fishing Licenses?
No need to worry about federal and local permits and licenses, as we have all that covered!
Simply show up and we will take care of the rest.

What Else Should I Know?
It is customary in our industry to tip the mate 20% of the trip cost.
